petxperts’ task:
petxperts developed a recommendation for expanding the felmo product range (food and non-food).
A key priority was to prioritize the new product development pipeline
for felmo’s private-label product lines and to propose product ideas that could be implemented quickly (“low-hanging fruit”).
An additional component of the task was to generate ideas for optimizing the felmo online shop (including categories and search) and the existing product ranges. The focus here was on felmo’s private-label products and the development of hypotheses for optimization.
The basis for the product range optimization was a targeted competitive analysis in which health-oriented product ranges in the competitive environment (online and brick-and-mortar) were reviewed and compared with felmo’s existing product range. In addition, petxperts supported and advised felmo on supplier selection.
Result:
A comprehensive, brand-aligned product development overview that provides the team with a clear framework for efficiently implementing new product ideas. These product ideas take into account felmo’s key priorities, the relevance of the category, and the complexity of product development. A detailed and clearly structured foundation for the successful expansion of felmo’s private-label product lines!
